Yangon – July 27, 2020 – Mega Lifesciences, a pharmaceutical company,announced today that it has donatedthousands of Vitamin C 1000 mgNat C tablets to the health workers, working onthe frontlines at thehospitalsand medical labs during the times of Covid-19 pandemic.
The donation includes 1,440 Nat Cbottlescontaining 30 tabletsper bottle – handed over mainly to the health workers who are working in the various hospitals and medical labs across Yangon.
The handover of Vitamin C 1000mg Nat C weretaken place at various hospitalsand medical labs in Yangon including South Okkalapa General HospitalCovid Center,Waibargi General HospitalCovid Center,New Yangon General Hospital, Insein General Hospital, Yangon General Hospital,(500)-Bed Yangon Specialist Hospital, West Yangon General Hospital, North Okkalapa General Hospital, Thingangyun General Hospital, National Health Laboratory,and Yangon Fever Clinic Central.
Mega Lifesciences Limitedstated that the donations can supply well over thousands of health workers on the front lines and improve their immunity to protect from external pathogens and viruses during the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
The role of health workers is crucial in the fight against Covid-19. Therefore, the donations are mainly to support the health and well-being of the health workers, who are working on the front lines at the hospitals and medical labs, and risking their lives to keep the public safe.
